SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 pt. sour cream

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and dry ingredients alternately; beat until well blended. Add flavoring and sour cream; beat until smooth. Bake in loaf or tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Do not open oven door while cake is baking. Yield: 30 servings.
