PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak
1/4 c. oil
1 c. water
1 med. onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 green peppers, cut into strips
1 tbsp. corn starch
2 - 3 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Rice, cooked

Cut meat into strips. Heat oil in skillet. Cook meat in oil until brown. Stir in water, onion, garlic salt and ginger. Reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes. Add pepper strips during last 5 minutes.

Blend cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce. Stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Serve over rice. Makes 4 servings.
