MOLASSES DROP PUFFS 
1 egg
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
1 c. melted shortening
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. hot water
4 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins

Combine flour, ginger and cinnamon.

Dissolve baking soda in cup of hot water.

Combine all ingredients - mix together thoroughly.

Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

If batter is too thin, cool in refrigerator until it thickens.
