Heat oven to 350 degrees. Press favorite crumb crust on bottom of 8 or 9 inch springform pan. Bake 8 minutes and cool slightly. Cream 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese with 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup cocoa, and 2 teaspoons vanilla until smooth and fluffy.

Beat in 2 eggs. Stir in 1 cup sour cream. Blend well. Pour into pan. Bake 35 minutes. Turn off oven. Leave cheesecake in oven 30 minutes without opening the door. Remove from oven and chill overnight. Top with prepared cherry pie filling and whipped cream. This recipe may be doubled and frozen or halved and put into muffin cups.
