MRS. F.'S OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIE
 
1 c. butter (sweet)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. oatmeal, powdered
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
4 oz. plain Hershey's bar, broken into pieces
1 1/2 c. nut pieces

Cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and powdered oatmeal. Mix all together and add chocolate chips, Hershey's bar and nut pieces. Place golf ball size cookies, or you can make the dough into walnut size 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes or until slightly browned.

Put small amounts of oatmeal in blender after measuring. Blend in small batches until it turns to powder.
