1 box yellow cake mix
2 to 3 green apples
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
Lemon juice

Mix yellow cake mix as directed on the box. Slice apples. Melt butter and mix with brown sugar. Pour in 1/2 butter mixture into round cake pan. Repeat. Put sliced apples on top of mixture in a design. Sprinkle lemon juice over mixture and apple design. Split cake batter and pour on top of mixtures. Bake as directed on box.
