“STREAMLINE CAKE” IS IN:

STREAMLINE CAKE 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 (1 oz. ea.) squares chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 1/3 cups cake or pastry flour

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and lightly dust with flour a large baking pan (9x13x2-inch).

Mix softened butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Add flour sifted with salt, alternately with buttermilk. Dissolve baking soda in lemon juice and add quickly to batter.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cover with any white icing and, when cool, drizzle with chocolate icing, made by melting 2 teaspoons butter and 2 squares chocolate.
