SWEET-SOUR GREEN BEANS 
2 slices bacon, diced
1 (1 lb.) can green beans, drained
2 tsp. granulated sugar
1/4 c. green bean liquid
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. vinegar

Cook diced bacon until lightly brown. Push to side of pan and saute the chopped onions for several minutes.

Add sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and bean liquid and cook about five (5) minutes. Add drained green beans. Serve hot with any meat course. (Serves 4)
