1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
6 sm. onions
2 (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
Grated cheese

Melt butter and brown meat, crush garlic and add salt and pepper, sugar and tomato sauce. Cover and cook slowly 20 minutes. Cook noodles and drain. Grease large 2 quart casserole. Mix onion, cream cheese and sour cream.

Layer 1/3 noodles, 1/3 onions, cream cheese, sour cream mix and 1/3 meat sauce in casserole. Repeat twice, making 3 layers. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly (20 minutes). Serves 6.
