JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. Mazola oil
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced into eights
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. sugar

Blend sugar and oil; add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth. Prepare apples in separate bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Grease and flour tube pan. Pour 1 inch of batter. Layer 1/2 of apples. Pour half of remaining batter. Layer remaining apples. Pour remaining batter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until toothpick comes out clean.
