BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
5 lb. spareribs
1/2 c. Cointreau
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. honey
1 c. canned crushed pineapple
1/2 c. wine vinegar
1 lemon, sliced
2 tsp. ground ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
freshly ground black pepper

Marinate spareribs at room temperature for 1 hour in combined Cointreau, soy sauce, honey, pineapple, vinegar, lemon slices, ginger, garlic and pepper. Remove lemon from marinade. Broil spareribs for 20 minutes on each side, basting frequently with the marinade.

Serves 6.
