FRESH TOMATO BARBECUE SAUCE 
4 lb. fresh tomatoes, peeled & chopped
1 c. chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. chili sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard

Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until desired thickness. Stir occasionally. Serve with meat and poultry. Makes one quart or more. I double the recipe and freeze one quart.
