GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1 lb. (3 med. potatoes)
6 slices bacon, diced
1 med. onion
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. water

Boil potatoes in jackets, cool, peel and slice. Cook bacon until crisp, drain and reserve 2 Tbsp. drippings. Add onion to drippings and cook until tender. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, and pepper. Add water and vinegar, stir and cook until thickened. Add potatoes and bacon. Cook until heated through.
