MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. macaroni (1 1/2 c.) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 tsp. chopped onion (fine) 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1/2 lb. American cheese (cubed 1/2 c. milk Cook macaroni in boiling salted water; drain and rinse. Combine the mushroom soup, milk, onion and seasonings. Alternate layers of macaroni, soup and cheese in a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 6 servings. Also try topping with toasted bread crumbs. |
