3 LAYER CREME DE MENTHE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can Hershey's syrup 1/2 c. butter 2 c. confectioners' sugar 3 tbsp. creme de menthe 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels 6 tbsp. butter Combine sugar, 1/2 cup butter and eggs. Beat together. Add flour, vanilla, salt and syrup. Pour into ungreased 13"x9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Combine next 1/2 cup butter, confectioners' sugar and creme de menthe. Spread evenly over cooled cake. Refrigerate until firm. For topping: Melt together chocolate morsels and butter. Cool. Pour over top and refrigerate to harden frosting. Cut in small squares. |
