WHITE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. other shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttery flavored cooking oil
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. plus 4 tbsp.flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix ingredients well and chill. Form into small balls, roll in sugar and flatten. With a buttered glass. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
