MAW'S CODFISH CAKES 
1 lg. can codfish flakes
4-5 potatoes
1 lg. onion
1 bunch shallots
2 eggs
Salt & pepper to taste

Boil potatoes; let them cool. Then peel. Cut in quarters and then dice. Add chopped onion and shallots. Mix and add codfish flakes and eggs; mix well using clean hands. Shape into patties about 1 inch thick. Roll in flour and fry until brown on both sides. Enjoy!
