BETTER THAN MOM'S RICE PUDDING
1 c. long grain rice
1 1/2 qt. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 pt. heavy cream

Put rice, milk and sugar in 2-quart pot. Stir and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook 45 minutes to an hour, stirring constantly, until mixture is nice and thick but a little loose.

In separate bowl, mix vanilla, heavy cream and eggs. Pour mixture into rice, milk and sugar. When you see it all start to bubble, shut off immediately. Stir again, then put in serving dish. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and that's it. Well worth the effort. Mmmmm good.
