COUNTRY CRUST BREAD 
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1 c. warm milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 eggs
1/4 c. canola oil
6 to 6 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in sugar and salt in warm milk; add eggs and oil. Add 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Mix in remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. Turn dough onto floured board. Knead until smooth and doesn't stick to hands. Place in a greased bowl. Cover; let rise in a warm place until double in bulk. Punch down dough; divide in half. Knead and shape into loaves. Brush loaves with oil. Let rise until double.

Bake at 375°F until golden brown, about 40 to 45 minutes. Brush loaves with butter.
