WILD RICE HOTDISH | |
1 pkg. (6 oz.) half and half Uncle Bens regular and wild rice (thats the name on package) 2 cans mushrooms (small cans) diced 1 onion, diced 6 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. of pepper and salt to taste 2 lbs. hamburger 1/2 c. sliced almonds 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. half and half 1/2 c. celery, diced Cook rice same as package directions. Saute in butter, mushroom and onions and celery. Brown the hamburger (drain grease). Combine hamburger, rice, mushrooms, onions, and celery. Add soup and half and half then mix all together, and cover bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover sprinkle top with almonds stick back in oven uncovered until brown. |
