CHERYL'S HAWAIIAN CHICKEN | |
1 whole chicken 1 can pineapple chunks, reserving liquid 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. cider vinegar 1/4 tsp. ginger 1 green pepper, cut into 1 inch strips 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 chicken bouillon cube Brown chicken and cut into pieces. Drain pineapple chunks, add water to make 1/4 cup liquid. Combine sugar, cornstarch, pineapple liquid, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and bouillon cube. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over chicken. Bake uncovered 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Add green pepper strips and pineapple chunks. Bake until tender, about 30 minutes. |
