1 c. butter 1/2 c. confectioners sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. combine flour and salt then sift. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set but not brown. Cookies do not spread. While warm, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool then roll in sugar again. Makes 4 dozen. |
