CLASSIC MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 egg, beaten
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/8 tsp. instant minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

SAUCE (Optional) :
1/3 c. catsup
1 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

1. Combine all ingredients. Pat into 9 x 5 x 2 inch microwave safe loaf dish.

2. Cook in microwave oven on full power for 8-10 minutes or until temperature of 160 degrees is reached.

3. For Sauce: Blend ingredients well. Pour over meat loaf halfway through cooking time. (For firmer meat loaf, decrease tomato sauce to 3/4 cup.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
