BACHELOR'S STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef or cube steak, cut into sm. pieces
4 med. potatoes
4 lg. carrots
1 can French onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms (opt.)
Salt & pepper

Place meat and cut up vegetables into slow cooker; stir in soups and mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. This can also be put into a casserole dish and baked in the oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
