GRANOLA CRUNCH | |
2 c. oats 1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped 1 c. flaked coconut 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.) 1/2 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. sunflower seeds 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. vegetable oil 2 c. dried banana chips 2 c. raisins 2 tbsp. sesame seeds Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine oats, nuts, coconut, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, sesame seeds, cinnamon, salt, milk and oil in a large bowl. Mix well. Spread evenly in foil lined pan. Bake 55 to 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from pan and stir in banana chips and raisins. Cool before serving. You may substitute other nuts and dried fruits as long as you have 9 and 1/2 cups total fruit, oats, nuts and seeds. After baking you may also add chocolate chips. |
