CRUMB CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4-1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. molasses

Mix flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Cut in Crisco. Reserve 1 1/2 cups for top crumbs. To remaining mixture add molasses and 1/4 cup hot water. Mix well. Then add 1 cup hot water with 1 teaspoon baking soda. Mix well. Pour mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

WHIPPED TOPPING (LOW CALORIE) :

1/4 c. Carnation instant nonfat dry milk
1/4 c. ice water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar

Chill bowl and beaters. Whip dry milk with ice water until soft peaks form (3 to 4 minutes). Add lemon juice; beat until stiff (3 to 4 minutes). Fold in sugar. Serve at once - makes 1-2 cups.
