CALIFORNIA GREEN BEANS AND
TOMATOES
 
1 (16 oz.) can green beans
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced

May use equivalent of fresh vegetables.

Saute garlic in olive oil until lightly cooked. Crush tomatoes and add tomatoes and juice and green beans. Simmer 15 minutes. If fresh tomatoes and beans are used, increase cooking time until tomatoes are cooked and beans are tender. It is good as a topping for rice.
