BANANAS FLAMBE 
4 bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
3/4 stick butter
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. light rum
Vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream

In large skillet, on low to medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar and bring to a light boil. Place bananas in skillet and leave 1 minute on each side or until light golden brown. Add rum and ignite. When flames subside place 2 or 3 banana slices over ice cream and pour sauce over top. Top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
