FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
2 eggs

Sift in bowl the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and sugar. Add vanilla, fruit cocktail and eggs. Pour in a 13 x 9 inch dish or pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

TOPPING FOR CAKE:

1 stick butter
3/4 c. canned milk
3/4 c. sugar

Bring butter to boil. Add milk and sugar. Pour this over cake while hot and cake is warm.
