CREAM CHEESE CRUMB CAKE 
1/4 c. (less 1 tbsp.) butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 whole eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk

Mix 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup sugar by hand in a small bowl until mixture resembles crumbs; set aside for 40 to 50 minutes.

Sift together 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda; set aside.

Cream 1/2 cup butter and the cream cheese until well blended. Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; then add 1 1/4 cups sugar; mix well. Add 1/2 cup milk alternately with flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.

Pour into a greased 13"x9"x2" pan or 2 greased 8" square pans. Sprinkle with crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
