CHEESE FONDUE 
1 clove garlic
4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1 1/2 c. dry white wine
French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes

Rub garlic inside 2-quart casserole, then discard garlic. Pour wine into casserole. Microwave at medium-high until wine is very hot, not boiling.

Mix cheese, flour, salt, nutmeg, and pepper together in plastic bag. Add all ingredients from plastic bag to above mixture. Blend with wire whisk. Microwave at medium high until bubbly, 4-9 minutes. Stir. Transfer to fondue pot and serve with bread.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
