HOT FUDGE SUNDAE CAKE 
1 (4 oz.) bar German chocolate
1 stick butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
S. can evaporated milk (5.3 oz.)

1 tsp. vanilla

21 chocolate chip cookies

1/4 c. melted butter

8 oz. Cool Whip

1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream

Chopped nuts (optional)

Stir and boil 5 minutes Fudge Mix. Add vanilla and cool.

Next crush cookies and mix with melted butter. Spread in 13x9 pan and refrigerate until cold.

Next slice and smooth ice cream over top of chocolate chip layer. Freeze 1/2 - 1 hour then add cooled fudge sauce. Freeze another 1/2 - 1 hour.

Frost with Cool Whip (optional nuts on top). Keep in freezer. Remove 20 minutes ahead of serving.
