LASAGNE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 c. diced onion
2 garlic cloves, fine cut
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz. each)
2 c. water (8 oz. each)
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. crushed basil
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. celery flakes
1 tsp. sweet pepper flakes

Saute onions and garlic in hot oil until brown. Remove and add meat; brown well, stirring frequently. Drain fat from pan. Return onions, garlic; add tomato sauce, water, sugar, flakes and seasonings. Simmer for 1 hour or until thickened.

NEXT:

1 pt. cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, thin sliced
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
10 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked

Combine first 5 ingredients. In oblong baking pan, alternately layer noodles, cottage cheese mixture, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan. Bake in 350 degree oven, uncovered, for about 45 minutes or until done. 8 servings.
