BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. water
1/3 c. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

In a saucepan, combine butter, water and cocoa. Cook and stir until mix comes to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside. In bowl, stir flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir batter into hot cocoa mix. By hand, beat until well mixed.

Pour into greased and floured 10 x 15-inch pan.

Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
