Cook 4 large chicken breasts until tender, cool and cube. Place in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour a can of chicken soup mixed with a can of broth from chicken breasts. 1 package of seasoned dressing mix, moistened with broth, on top of chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/4 hour.
Or At it's very best - toast half loaf of bread and cube it. Brown 1/2 pound of sausage, 1 cup each onion and celery, put 1 teaspoon sage, salt and pepper to taste. Combine with bread, moisten with chicken broth, put over chicken and soup mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. This is my favorite casserole, I use the toasted bread, it is my own special recipe.
