CHESTNUT MEAT BALLS 
2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped

Combine crumbs, milk, soy sauce, garlic salt, onion powder. Add beef and sausage and chestnuts. Mix well, form into 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
2 tsp. cornstarch

Combine sugar, vinegar, paprika and salt in saucepan. Bring to a boil and thicken with water and cornstarch (which has already been thickened). Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
