2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. Nestle Quik
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. soft butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. marshmallow creme
1 c. milk

Cream 2/3 cup shortening and 3/4 cup sugar. Beat in 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla.

Mix in separate bowl 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 cup Nestle's Quik, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda. Add dry ingredients to creamed ingredients alternately with 1 cup milk. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

Frosting: Beat 1/3 cup soft butter, 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 cup marshmallow creme. Spread between 2 cookies. Store in airtight container.
