1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. dry strawberry Jello
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 - 1 1/2 pts. fresh strawberries, hulled
1 baked pie shell

Mix dry ingredients. Add water. Bring to boil and cook until slightly thick, stirring constantly. Cool and pour over strawberries in baked pie shell. Cool in refrigerator until set (1 hour). Top with whipped topping before serving.
