7-UP POUND CAKE 
2 sticks softened butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1 can 7-Up
2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Mix first three ingredients until creamy. Alternately add flour and eggs, starting and ending with flour. Add 7-Up and lemon flavoring. Mix thoroughly. Pour into oiled Bundt pan.

Bake at 350°F for 90 minutes. Do not open oven door.

While cake is warm, mix together and pour this glaze over top.

GLAZE:

2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 oz. 7-Up

Combine.
