SHERRY CAKE | |
1 yellow cake mix (1 lb. 3 1/2 oz.) 1 pkg. vanilla or lemon pudding mix (instant or regular) 1 tsp. nutmeg 3/4 c. cooking oil 3/4 c. cream sherry 4 eggs Combine cake mix, pudding mix and nutmeg in large bowl. Add oil and wine; mix in. Then add eggs, one at a time. Turn into ungreased angel cake pan and bake at 300 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Let cake cool in pan. Don't invert until cold. Turn out and sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
