ITALIAN CRESCENT CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 env. spaghetti sauce mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
6 to 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. melted butter

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In frying pan, brown beef and onion; drain, stir in sauce mix and tomato sauce. Heat until hot and bubbly. Combine cheese and sour cream. Pour hot meat mixture into ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Spoon cheese mixture over meat. Separate crescent dough into 2 rectangles. Place rectangles over cheese mixture. Combine Parmesan cheese and melted butter. Crumble over the dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 18 to 25 minutes. Option: add mushrooms and green peppers to meat mixture.
