SWEET AND SOUR SAUSAGES | |
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut thin 2 med. green bell peppers, cut bite sized 3/4 c. catsup 1 (16 oz.) can chunk pineapple, drained 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 4 tsp. lemon juice Place sausage slices and bell pepper in large microwave-safe mixing bowl. Cover with wax paper and microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once or twice. Drain off excess fat. Mix cherries with catsup and lemon juice. Then combine all ingredients with sausage. Re-cover and microwave 5 minutes on high until heated throughout, stirring gently once or twice. Serve in chafing dish with toothpicks. Very pretty for holidays! |
