PUFF PASTRY DOUGH | |
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted 1 c. (2 sticks) salted butter, cut up 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. ice-cold water Place flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center; into it add butter, salt, baking soda and ice water. Mix by hand until dough forms walnut size pieces. Refrigerate until ready to use. |
