SHERRY ICE BOX CAKE 
12-14 lady fingers
3 well beaten egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
3 egg whites
1 c. heavy cream
1 tbsp. gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/4 c. hot water
4 tbsp. sherry wine OR
1 tsp. vanilla

Line 9 inch springform pan with lady finger halves. Combine beaten egg yolks with sugar. Beat well. Beat cream until stiff. Soak gelatin in cold water and dissolve in hot water and combine with yolk mixture. Fold in whipped cream and egg whites. Pour in lady finger pan. Chill until firm.
