APPLE CRISP 
4-5 Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored & sliced)
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sweet butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Place apples in a greased 8 inch square pan or dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. With fork, pastry blender or fingers, combine the remaining ingredients until crumbly. Spread the crumbs over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30-40 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Great with whip cream or ice cream.
