VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
1 c. butter
6 whole eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 (7 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut

Cream butter well and gradually add sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla wafer crumbs alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with crumbs. Fold in the coconut and nuts thoroughly. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 275 degrees for one and one-half hours. (Vanilla wafers may be crushed in a large plastic bag using a rolling pin.)
