ALMOND TARTS WITH FILLING 
1 c. butter
3/5 c. sugar
2 1/3 c. flour
1 egg

FILLING:

3 1/2 oz. slivered almonds
3 1/2 oz. sugar
3 1/2 oz. butter
2 tbsp. heavy cream

You need 36 tartlets tins.

Beat softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Blend in remaining ingredients. Divide dough into 36 pieces. Line your tins.

Filling: Put all ingredients into saucepan. Boil until golden brown. Put 1 tablespoon of the filling in each tin. Bake 375 degrees 10-15 minutes.
