LEMON SQUARES 
1 box lemon cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg

TOPPING:

1 (16 oz.) box confectioners' sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract

Mix the cake mix, butter and egg together and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat the topping ingredients until smooth and pour on top of cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm. Makes 36 squares.
