FUN'S LEMON SQUARES 
BOTTOM LAYER:

1 c. butter or you may use 1/2 c. butter mixed with 1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour sifted with 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Blend with pastry blender. Press into 9"x13" ungreased glass casserole. Prick with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. While this is baking, prepare

TOP LAYER:

4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. lemon juice & grated rind of 1 lemons
Powdered sugar

Mix thoroughly and place on crust. Return to 325 degree oven for 30 minutes. Sift on powdered sugar while still warm. Cut in 1 1/2" squares. (They taste like little lemon pies!)
