STRAWBERRY PRESERVES | |
4 c. sugar 4 heaping c. strawberries, chopped 1 c. water Dissolve sugar in water over medium heat for 3 minutes, add strawberries. Boil vigorously for about 23 minutes, stirring frequently but not constantly. Remove from heat and skim off white foam from top. Pour in sterilized jars and freeze. Yield: 2 pints. |
